Wojtek the bear workshops

Wojtek the bear workshops were designed and piloted by PCFA as a part of the Polish Scottish Heritage Project and have proven to be very popular with children and parents.

Since then we have been commissioned to deliver the workshops on number of occasions; as part of school’s extracurricular activity, at community festivals and events that celebrate Polish and Scottish heritage and culture.

The workshops are designed to take families on a creative journey discovering our Polish and Scottish heritage. Making costumes to dress a real size brown bear, creating an amazing bear mask or finding out just how big the bear’s paw is, those are a few examples of the fun activities, building blocks of the workshops.

The workshops are usually accompanied with multimedia Exhibition showcasing the heritage shared by Poland and Scotland also developed as part of the Polish Scottish Heritage Project.
